Hi I'm Jeni,

​

I'm passionate about creating resilient spaces by developing Security, Safety and Emergency Management programs with both an operational and human perspective.

​

I’ve been a licenced Private Investigator and Security Coordinator since 2014. My work as a Wildfire Fighter, Emergency Management Coordinator, volunteer municipal firefighter and volunteer ESS responder has provided opportunities to support B.C emergency activations (wildfires and the COVID 19 responses) as well as those in N.S. in 2022-2023 (hurricane Fiona, the Upper Tantallon and Hammonds Plains wildfires and the atmospheric river resulting in flash floods).

 

I'm a writer, and I develop Safety, Security and Emergency Management programs and deliver Resilience Coaching for front line workers, so they can navigate challenging interactions with confidence, courage and creativity.

​

- Former CRC National Fraud Fighters member: established validation strategies to combat fraudulent claims.

- Guest speaker at Fire Service Association of Nova Scotia annual conference - Fraud in a Non-profit Landscape (2023)

- EOC – Canada Games Centre, Nova Scotia Wildfire Evacuations (2023)

- ERT Coordinator, Incident Manager for interprovincial Atlantic Level 2+ emergencies.

- Established a relationship with the Society for Atlantic Heroes for CRC staff, volunteers and their families to have access to free accommodation as needed for medical and mental health treatment.
